Touch Active Straight cut control
The Heidenhain Positip 8016 is a modern, versatile straight cut control for three regulated axes. With its simple operating concept and its range of functions, it fits perfectly with our FPS 500M-digital and FPS 630M-digital.
With the HEIDENHAIN control, workshop-oriented programming is simple: With help graphics, practice-oriented dialogs and cycles for machining and coordinate transformation, you quickly achieve the desired result.
Connection to external programming is possible via a Fast Ethernet interface.

All-round versatility

The user can operate the machine manually with handwheels or with the CNC control.
Machine conventionally or with the help of complex machining programs, which you create directly on the machine.

Angular machining
Swivel the vertical milling head to any position to the right or left by ± 90°. This makes it easy to realise inclined boreholes, for example. The degree can be read off a scale.
Extra Y – axis workspace
The vertical milling head can also be adjusted by 150 mm in the longitudinal axis. This allows you to increase your X-Y working area to
500 x 600 mm or 630 x 600 mm.
Milling and drilling
The vertical spindle is extendable by 60 respectively 80 mm and can be used as drilling pinole as well.
Locking vertical milling head
After swivelling the vertical milling head, it can be easily and quickly re-aligned to the vertical position by means of a locking device.
Coolant on the spindle mount
Articulated hoses can be used to ensure that the tool is supplied with coolant in any position.

Vertical and horizontal
The milling head can be swivelled by 180°, allowing you to convert the working area from vertical to horizontal and back again.

Easy maintenance
The main aggregates of our machines are arranged in a maintenance-friendly way. All important
units are located for direct access at the rear. In addition, you benefit from automatic central lubrication for all axes and the vertical milling head.
